The CleanStar Trust was established in mid-2007 based on the realisation that with appropriate technical and financial support, the rural poor could become great champions in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation.

Today, we are a resource centre for community-based agro-forestry, clean energy production, and environmental education programs that engage and benefit the rural poor.
